I purchased this cooler for all day volleyball tournaments. It had enough room for 2 people, but I don't think it would have been enough for more. Our tournaments are between 8 and 10 hours long, so it held quite a bit. We had 3 gatorades, 2 cans pops, an ice tea and a water. Plus, 2 sandwiches and a small salad. That was all in the inside. We did not attempt to put anything in the pockets. We did use an outside pocket to hold a drink. It was a little lighter than carrying around a hard case cooler and the handle was very comfortable and strong. It was great for what we used it for.
This is my third cooler purchase from Bean. The first was a family size for me, the second a family size cooler for a gift and the third was a smaller picnic size for me. I love them! They keep your food cold for a very long time and are easy to pack since the sides are not rigid. You'd be amazed how much more food you can fit in these than a traditional hard sided cooler. I'm sure I'll buy more for gifts--great wedding gift idea!
