I've been going back and forth whether or not I should buy this based on the poor reviews. But you can't beat the price, so it was worth trying. I put boiling water in it, and 5 hours later, it was still boiling hot. I poured some in a cup, and you still had to blow on it to even sip it. It stayed hot long beyond that too. Glad I tried it.

I ordered this for my daughter to take to work. She is a big coffee drinker and is very particular about her coffee! She wanted one so that she could make a full pot of coffee in the morning and take it into work with her to have during the day. As other reviewers suggested, I filled it with boiling water and let it sit over night. After 8 hours, it was still boiling hot. I was thrilled! My daughter has taken it into work ever since we received it and is totally thrilled with it. We have tried many brands of thermos bottles, but none measured up. I just knew LL Bean was the place to go for this type of thing! It was on sale too! Very pleased.
