I've had two LL Bean Vacuum Bottles by Stanley and had to return both after they mysteriously lost their vacuum, and therefore their ability to keep liquids hot. The first bottle lasted one month; the second lasted 1 year. Stanley needs to address some quality control issues before I buy another one of these.
I purchased two, one for my husband and one for me, We love them! You do have to be sure the top is closed, but the coffee/hot chocolate stays hot for hours.
I love my Stanley bean thermos, I haven't had any of the issues other customers have had with this item. Its not my first Stanley thermos, and it won't be my last- Stanley is a tradition at my house. It keeps my coffee hot for hours, and I drink coffee daily, all morning.
I had an inexpensive insulated bottle that kept my coffee piping hot. Unfortunately it broke and I needed a replacement. Saw this "L.L.Bean Edition Vacuum Bottle by Stanley" and it was a bit larger and thought for the price it would perform at least the same as my other bottle. By the time I arrive to work (1 1/2 hours later) my coffee is luke warm. Had to rate it 1 star but it doesn't deserve even one star. I will be returning it and I'll see if L.L. Bean lives up to their guarentee. This is my first time purchasing from L.L. Bean too.
