Replaced an old travel mug with this bottle for a duck and upland hunting trip with an old friend in WA state. Tonight I am ordering one for my friend as a post-hunt gift. We were both very impressed with this product. Kept the coffee hot, even on cold mornings in the duck blind. Easy to use and clean.
I can't believe I spent almost $30 on a coffee mug, but I absolutely love it. I love that it seals up to unspillable - I close it and just throw it in my pocketbook for my walk to the car. Great for when my hands are full.
Some reviews mentioned that it's hard to put back together when you take it apart to wash. It really isn't hard at all.
Best of all, it keeps my coffee hot for a long time.
So far, I'm liking this mug/bottle quite a lot (can't speak to durability yet, but it seems tough). It keeps hot things hot all day, fits in most cupholders, and after you fill it, you can carry it upside-down with no leakage at all. I really wanted a fully leakproof coffee mug, and this fits the bill, and looks nice, to boot.
Two caveats...
1. You can't really operate it one-handed. You need to hold it in one hand, and work the top part of the lid with the other.
2. After you drink out of it, and close the lid up again, there's a bit of liquid in the lid, above the seal. So, it won't leak the contents of the bottle out, but it might dump a little coffee on the light-colored seat of your car. Ask me how I know this. :)
I have especially enjoyed the Vacuum drink bottle, it keeps my Cafe au Lait hot till the last drop during my commute and gauntlet ran to get to work. Size wise is fits well in the hand and can be easily clipped to a messenger bag. Disassembly is quick for cleaning and the stainless bottle with retro stanley stipple paint is durable. That said, the 4 piece top section needs to be made of a more durable material. I have R/R tops twice when they have broken from light weight design. I am careful with cleaning and fitment in reassembly, yet the slightest misalignment will crack the stopper races with any tightening. So Close...............
