ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, perfect size
My son took his when he travelled around Europe and I bought another for a nephew who lives in Boston. This pack is rugged yet good looking and very functional. It has a fun, contemporary look yet very useful. Just the right size. You'll love it!!
I'm 5' 11" 155lbs.and the Ruck fits like a glove, for those needing sizing info. Construction looks great and in my opinion is a great homage to traditional ways which aren't around any more. Looking forward to traveling with this untill me and the pack wears out.
I received the back pack a couple of days ago. It looks GREAT and I was anxious to use it. It doesn't have all the compartments that my LLB book pack has but it looks a whole lot cooler. It was easy to get into and carried my load comfortably. Using the strap and buckle closures is a little less convenient than zippers but that's the price you pay for a good looking back pack like this.
i bought this pack to use on our trip to alaska. my wife and i carried it everyday on every excursion including a motorcycle trip. it held all of our items including my large camera plus jackets, sweatshirts, and any and all other supplies we thought we might need while on the excusion. we carried on a float plane trip, a steam locomotive trip and as stated a motorcycle trip where it was the only thing we had to put our gear in. my wife carried it on her back on the bike and said it was as comftorable for her as it was for me. it has many great pockets and never let us down for places to put stuff. the strap stiching did pop a few threads but nothing that hurt the bag. i would recommend a few more holes in the buckle strap belts so they can be closed a little tighter other than that i would change nothing. we still use it often and it will go with us on every trip we take by plane, ship, or what ever.
