I purchased this kayak from ll bean because of your history of quality and customer service. i found kayaks for less but i prefer to deal with a quality company. My son (the recipient) is looking forward to the spring when he can go out on Lake Lanier.
This is a very nice package. It is good for beginners and seasoned kayakers. The package with the paddles and cockpit cover made it a deal that couldn't be passed up.
I bought this package for my wife several months ago and we've had it out several times (before writing this review). It is very stable, tracks strait, and is easy to get in and out of. If you are a recreational kayaker (is that a word?) get this one. It will serve you very well.
i am new to kayaking and read all the reviews (all positive) and decided to purchase the package when it went on sale for 20% off. what else can i say AWESOME YAK. took it out for the first time today on a nearby lake. easy in/out, tracking was excellent, seat is comfortable (butt did get a little sore after 2 1/2 hours), effortless to paddle, moves with ease across water. this is an excellent buy. received in one week after ordering. ll bean has a winner with this yak.
