My husband I purchased these kayaks and went out the same day they were delivered. We had done a lot of shopping around at other sporting stores. These were the best quality for the price. They are easy to paddle in the water and handle out of the water.
I ordered my kayak back in early July and it took at least 3 weeks to arrive. I finally took it out this week and it was great. I am a 5'10, 53 year old woman and found the kayak very comfortable and safe. I must say that you can not get the kayak on top of your car alone. It is to heavy to maneuver by yourself. I had to put it in my SUV and strap it down with the hatch partially open so I could go on my maiden voyage. I had read reviews about how easy it is to get the kayak on top of the car alone.. No way!!! I also bought the Thule J bars for the top of the car but no way can you do it alone! All in all I love the kayak! Wish I lived right on a lake so no need to transport.
I looked at many kayaks before deciding on the Manatee. This kayak has everything that I wanted and is very comfortable. There is nothing I would change about it!
Great for the price I've used it quite a bit,the only thing I don't like about it is the storage compartment is not enclosed so if water gets in the boat your stuff gets wet.
