I got my lime green kayak package about a month ago and finally got to use it on my camping trip this past week. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made!! The kayak is easy to get in and out of and glides through the water. It was also easy to lift up to mount on the top of the car. I can't wait to get back out in it!!!
I just purchased two Manatees for my wife and me. We have kayaked in Jamaica (ocean), but this is the 1st time on a lake. The Manatees move effortlessly for the most part. Much nicer than more expensive model our neighbor recently purchased locally. My only issue was how they were shown on the website. Site stated 1-2 weeks delivery and in stock, well it takes 2-3 weeks because they're made to order. Plus we didn't receive the manufacturing information to register one of them upon delivery. However, L.L.Bean did make it right - thank you.
I just got the kayak today. i wrote a review a few days ago that wasnt exactly fare. I was just really frustrated at the time because shipping was taking longer than expected so just ignore that review. The kayak itself is more than what I expected. it is absolutley exceptional for the price. not a bad price at all. its great quality and very very comfortable to sit in. it hasnt been in the water yet but I plan on trying it out next week. I hope this helps anyone. oh and the paddle it came with is good quality too. its nothing like those cheap paddles you would rent from some kayaking place. its really good
