I ordered this item for my grandson who is leaving for college and is active in sports. He requested them and when I saw LL Bean carried them I was delighted. He was happy to receive them.
i bought two pair of these in medium thinking it was time to upgrade my underwear and if they have worked out would have bought a dozen or so pairs. As it turned out, even thought it is exceptionally hot in Arkansas this summer, they fit way too snug even though I thought I oversized by going with the mediums, but by far it was the heat of wearing the them that was so uncomfortable. Other people may like them for style for they do look good, wish there had been another colour option from ll besides black, but unless you like self inflicted discomfort, these are too hot and sweaty to wear as your regular underwear. johnny b
I already have some of these. Initially bought for hunting - thin & slippery, great for layering. Their slippery nature makes them great for dress-up occasions, too. Wool dress pants slide easily on them if you have a wedding to go to, or everyday business. Cotton underwear under wool pants tend to bunch and get caught on each other. I recently found that they are also great under shorts if I am going out for a run. No bunching up, and no chafing. I got 2 more pairs now that I have found more uses for them. The price is high @ $20. per pair, so I haven't decided to wear them everyday, yet...
