Radio was smaller than I expected (which was good). I just leave it on the window sill in the sun and it plays all day. If it is cloudy I just crank it a bit. Great for travel. Not the ultimate in sound quality but I think it is good for the price and size. Love that it is using the sun's energy!
I highly recommend this product. I use it at work to listen to my Ipod. I use it most of the workday, everyday, and it stays charged a very long time. I've only had to charge it a few times since I purchased it, which is much less than I anticipated based on the package directions. The speaker volume is wonderful. I don't use the radio, but the rececption is good.
The audio player is not exactly what I expected but it is fine. The directions for set-up were not clear but I did manage to get it to work. The sound from my Ipod is okay. All in all, for the money, it is a good product and I would recommend it to others.
I liked the price. I liked the many different ways in which the radio could be charged. And I liked that I could connect my ipod to it. I even liked the small carrying case. It is great to have in the car for emergencies.
I do not like the sound quality. I find that if I have the volume to the max I still cannot hear it and it makes a crackling noise. If I set the volume to about half way the crackling disappears, but I still have trouble hearing it. Just for the record I do not need hearing aides, but I think I would to hear this thing. In addition, I do not like how difficult it is to tune the radio. The radio stations either come in or not at all. I know they could do better.
