Good quality, sat for long period of time and not sore at all.......great chair, only thing is the reclining part is not so great, but comfort is important :)
ProsDurable, Performing as Expected, far better than any other, worth it!
This is the most well-made chair I have seen: stitching, seams, the overall make are tight with a strong feeling. The chair, itself, is comfortable, sits with a sturdiness that I have never felt in one of these. The adjustable recliner strap is an odd/unique method to recline, but it just takes getting used to. Reclining with it is more difficult than the handle w/notch method of the other ones, but just consider it a unique method and learn to use it. There are supports in just the right places...lower back and under the legs to lift them from an horizontal position, making it even more comfortable. The quality of the wood handles is very good, as is the fabric of the whole chair, and the way the chair is made and moves. I am delighted with our purchase. After buying one, and both of us testing it, we bought the second one so we would have two good, strong chairs that would also be good for our backs. The cost is worth it!
After reading various reviews on this chair I decided to risk purchasing it. I definitely would not expect to lug it a long distance. But for my purposes, which is being able to recline and use my binoculars for stargazing it will work fine. And yes, if you are tall, this is not for you.
