The chair is a present for my camping son but I found it very comfortable and appealing streching out in my livingroom. I picture him strapping it on his back and taking it to a caving gettogether, but not in the cave.
I bought this chair for my 85 year old mother.....we took it to Maui for her to sit on at the beach....it was perfect..comfortable and sturdy..we fixed it up with an umbrella and it was perfect for many hours at the beach...we adjusted the straps and didn't have any trouble at all.
We always take a couple of these on our car camping trips. They are REALLY nice to sit in around a campfire. I enjoy the wooden arms and the relaxed posture of the chair - similar to sitting in an Adirondak Chair. Another nice feature is that the continuous tubing for the legs prevents the chair from sinking into beach sand as opposed to traditonal camp chairs that have legs terminate into a single point on each corner. Folds easily into a farily compact package.
