I'm 5'4" and this is my favorite camp chair, ever. I have three of last year's model and can't say enough good things about them. Friends who've used them agree. Folds up nicely, sturdy, comfy, adjustable recline. Really terrific. Camping for me is about lounging around the campfire, reading a great book or writing in my journal. A comfy chair is a must. This chair is essential camping equipment for me and friends.
The chair is made out of highly durable aluminum that can stand up to the rigors of time. The chair is extremely comfortable in both the upright and the reclining position. I would highly recommend this chair for the beach because of its light weight, comfort, quality, and the storage pocket.

I've been looking for some time for a nice portable chair that I could take to the beach or on a hike. This chair is perfect for both. The chair is rugged in construction yet light. I enjoyed the ease of set-up (just open) and the simple but effective means to adjust the tilting back. The back straps are a nice touch, allowing me to carry the chair and still leave my hands free to carry other items.
