I purchased 2 of these chairs after carefully researching many chairs and I am disappointed because the chairs are uncomfortable, the wooden armrests make them heavy, and one of them arrived broken.
I wanted a lightweight comfortable camp chair with a structured seat and good lumbar support for camping. I have lower back problems and can't do camp chairs with saggy seats and backs anymore. I have no problem getting out of it even though it's low to the ground. Plus, it's a chair that I can easily carry to local music, etc. events. The only feature I don't like are the straps that raise and lower the back because they get in the way of resting my arms comfortably on the chair arms. I would have preferred the mechanism for raising and lowering the back was in the chair arms. Otherwise it fits the bill for me.
The chair is sturdy and comfortable in an upright position. However it does not recline as far back as I anticipated. The back does not come up high enough for comfortable head rest.
I had an older model of this chair and I think this one is better except that it only has one cup holder. I like the design of this one better. Easy to carry on your back, lighter weight. It's a bit cumbersome to adjust the back but it's not a big deal. The simple design of the adjustment strap keeps it lightweight.
