Great, comfortable chair for relaxing by the campfire!
I had the luxury of sitting in every chair at the LL Bean flagship store. This was by far the most comfortable of the camp chairs. If you have wide shoulders then you'll benefit from the design of this chair (most of the upright back chairs tend to squeeze my shoulders).
While this may not get as compact as a `regular` camp chair, it does fold flat like a beach chair. It also has built-in carrying straps and drink holder.
The recline angle is continuously adjustable with a single strap. This chair is a little lower than the others but not too much so and wouldn't be out of place next to different designs.
While I personally found this chair to be the moat comfortable and best design of the LL Bean stock, another patron mentioned to me that they also had this chair, that they loved it, and that they recommend it---that sealed the deal.
This chair is exceptionally comfortable. It is fairly lightweight and the pocket under the seat is great but it should have a zip enclosure so your belongings don't fall out. The other ideal addition would be a small cooler on the back of the chair for a couple beverages and a small ice pack. Very satisfied with the design, make, and durability. Extremely versatile chair and great for camping,sport events or the beach!
chair is comfortable, we use it out at our summer campsite, nice cushioned seat and headrest, reclines back far enough for extra lounging, overall happy with the purchase.
I bought two of these chairs for a camping trip. When they first arrived, I thought they were a little low to the ground but once we used them around the campfire it turned out, they were the perfect size. Very comfortable and very easy to transport with the built in backpack-like straps.
