"Respectfully, these are the worst wool pants I ever bought. The wool is just a tad better than a strudy burlap sack, and equally thin. From the on-line description I expectd an excellent pair of quality wool pants. Yes, I did return them right away."

"These were my primary hunting pants for hunting in the Adirondacks this year. Maybe a bit too thin for stand hunting but great for walking/still hunting. Temps were 20's to 50's. Quiet, soft, and roomy. Wear with thermals. I would prefer a 6 pocket pant but I found the lined option makes too much noise when walking. I would buy these pants again."

"My grandfather gave me a pair of his old LL Bean wool pants he bought in the 40's for my first year at college and they are still in great shape after 60-something years of use. I recently bought 2 more pairs that are basically identical to the ones from the 40's. My guess is that these pants will outlast me!"

"I had to send the pants back the first time. The waist is sized small. I specified 34" inseam on the exchange and got a 36". They are scratchy on bare legs but I'm going to get the cuffs hemmed and keep them. They look and feel like pretty good quality."

"Liked the washable wool pants so well for this cold snap I got these as well. Mmmm, heavenly warmth but still comfortable indoors, great for the commuting trek in what feels like Siberia, nice enough for business casual, and look well on a woman's figure even though they are men's slacks! If you don't have them for this current cold wave, shame on you!"

"This was the first Maine Guide camo item I bought two years ago. At first I wore them mix and match with other gear. Then it became clear that this product has a style, camo pattern and comfort that is all to itself. I have added a shirt jacket and a parka to carry me through three seasons of hunting. This is the"Armani" of outdoor wear. I wear the pants to work sometimes on Fridays."

"Great pants! They're warm, not itchy as wool sometimes is, and there's a second wasitband button. The grippy rubber stictching in the waistband helps hold them up (though I think it also has suspender buttons). I wish they were machine wash, but that's my only complaint."
