Used to have an old one of those until my puppy got hold of it. So I ordered two more. Unfortunately although they are described as made of "Soft cotton fabric" (and my old one was indeed made of cotton) the tag in the inside reads 100% Acrylic. Very disappointed about this disinformation LL Bean! I would not have bought this product if I knew the fabric is acrylic and not cotton.
I have owned this hat now for a couple years of upland hunting, both grouse & snowshoe hare, & I would conclude that it is most certainly a comfortable, all day wearing hat. However, one change I would like to see is that the underside of the bill be a dark color. Black or brown. The current orange color is light reflective, & on a sunny day can make it difficult to track your hunted game. Otherwise, another excellent product from LL Bean.
