These were horrible! I bought them after reading the good reviews. I used them twice, and both times the back buckle kept riding up above my shoe and rubbing against my ankle. Every 2 minutes I had to stop and fix it. Then by the end it came totally undone. It was SO annoying. I returned them and bought more expensive ones and they are amazing! The LL Bean worker I spoke with said not to waste my time/money with these.
I'd never snowshoed before and I found these easy to use. The hardest part is bending over to unbuckle them! My husband, who is the more mechanical, did the adjusting to my boots. He was so impressed that I ordered him his own the next week. Our church is across a soccer field from us so it is "greener" to walk across the field than drive. The snow has made that a challenge so the snowshoes are put to use a couple of times a week.
My husband and I bought the Winter Walker Snowshoes a few years ago and have had a blast with them. We have three sons, two that are married, and they have borrowed them on occasion. This past Christmas we bought them all, including our new daughters, the winter walkers so they could have fun with them too. I highly recommend these.
