I ordered the powder blue snowshoes and I just love them. They are easy to get on & off, and it is just like walking. No need to walk bowlegged. If you are into "matchy-matchy" order the winter walker poles. The colors are blue & powder blue on silver and look real nice with the snowshoes. I also ordered the women's gaiters. An absolute must if you want to keep dry & warm. They really look cool as they are not bulky and they close w/a velcro strip, so they fit over boots & whatever type of pant you choose. Snowshoeing has opened up a whole new world. Enjoy.
I have to say how pleased I am with my new snowshoes. They are so light weight, easy to navigate with and have led to new trails for my dog to explore all winter long. No back sliding on slippery patches either. The bindings are sturdy and easily entered and exited.
Got my husband a pair of these for Christmas (and a pair for me, of course). Just tried them out and -- what fun, no slipping, even on slopes, lightweight, easy to put on and walk in. Makes walking in the snow so much easier. So glad LL Bean now has this more-affordable snowshoe, they are just great! Walking in the snow with boots strains the hips and back. These let you walk upright and keep your socks dry.
