I bought myself a pair last year, used them for walks with friends in the woods. I, also, use them to feed the birds down a slippery slope near the pond and find it much easier to get back to the house. I love them. They are light and not too wide and comfortable to walk in. I can take a normal stride. I actually bought more this year for presents.
