Walking

I bought these for my wife. They are easy on and easy off, lightweight, easily maneuverable, grippy on ice, and make walking on rough terrain in deep snow a silent pleasure. Highly recommended for the price. I use a pair, too, having switched over from decades of wearing the traditional bear paw style.

Great Snowshoes!
PostedFebruary 11, 2010
After looking at these online, I wanted to see them in person before buying so I went to my local retail store in West Lebanon, NH. They are on sale there at $79.99 so I had to buy them! Yes, the adjusting for my boot took a little time but I'm pretty sure that if you tighten the screws up good they won't come undone. The straps adjusted easily also. I wanted pink but the store only had powder blue in the 25". They still has pink in the smaller size. So, ladies, if you have been wanting a pair head to West Lebanon or your local store. They might be on sale there, too! Can't wait to use these in the woods during maple tree tapping.

Winter Walker Snowshoes

Once I got the snowshoes on, I was able to walk for a time. The straps are difficult to tighten and a couple of times I had to stop, readjust and tighten them up. At one point the back strap came undone completely nearly sending me into the snow. I plan to go to Beans and make sure I am using the strap system correctly. If am, and this is what happens, I may consider another type of snowshoe. I'm hooked on the sport and want to continue with a snowshoe I can depend on.
