I own a couple of these--great in the travel trailer, car/truck, by the back door. It always works, not very hard to crank. Not real bright--I get out the MAG for that. But these work for most purposes.
I was amazed at how quickly and easily this flashlight charged. I bought it on sale and am glad I did. I keep it in my car for emergencies. It's so great to know that we'll never be without a light should we need one, since all it takes is a quick crank to re-charge. Seems fairly sturdy and fit in the glove box. If it goes on sale again, I'll buy a couple more--one for my partner and one for home. I think it would make a practical gift to a young driver or someone who camps.
