This light put outs lots of light and does not require batteries. Cranking is easy and you can have light any time you want it. I have been frustrated by having a flashlight with dead batteries in my truck when I needed it the most, but no more with this little dynamo. It is a must have.
LL Bean usually delivers quality clothing and accessories. This time, I was extremely disappointed. No matter what I did, this flashlight wouldn't work. I didn't bother sending it back since I got it when it was on sale.
Quit working after a very short time, had to send it back. We winter in AZ and kept this on a window sill, so there was no shortage of sunlight. But it still didn't work.
I absolutely LOVE this flashlight. It is so handy to have around- no worrying if the batteries or bulb will work. Perfect size to stash in the glove compartment, put on the night stand or in a tote. Excellent for traveling!!
