Got flashlight today. Cranked for 3 minutes and no light. Cranked for another three minutes and got dim light. Wouldn't advise someone to buy one. Will send back to LLBean!
I can put my kids to bed without a fight and no dead batteries in the morning because they fell asleep with the flashlight on. I have 2 sons (4 and 2) who love these little wind-it-yourself lights for bedtime. I bought an extra one to have for my baby girl when she's older. Great product and durable for little hands that drop things a lot.
I bought this light as an emergency light to keep in the car. But my husband is enjoying it so much I'll have to get another one for the car. It's kinda a goofy yellow green but it's easy to find. When you crank it, it runs for a long time and is really bright. It has either 3 lights for brightness or 1 light for efficiency.
I bought this for one of my sons that collects flashlights but also got the other 3 sons one too. They thought it was a great, useable gift. Have ordered several more already. Going to keep one in the next order for myself. Maybe even keep 2.
