This LED flashlight was smaller than I expected though still somewhat fist sized, surprisingly light-weight, and plenty bright -- the light it emits. It lacks an easy way to secure it to you (i.e. clip to belt or to a belt hook). I think it would be excellent for an emergency light source -- even if flat, just wind and there is light.
the crank light is bright, relatively inexpensive and feels solid. i got one for each car and now i don;t have to worry about dead batteries in my emergency flashlights.
I got the hi-visibility flashlight. I have had it for about 2 months and I like it.The weight, the shape, how easy it is to charge it. 1 problem, the first light on the left went out. After 2 months. Maybe mine is defective. From what I hear from friends/family, L.L.Bean is known from their quality. But other then that, mine is awsome. Get it!
