Easy to pack in the glove compartment or wherever. "Palm-size" describes it perfectly. After toting around a big lantern flashlight in the back of the car for years as instructed, it is a pleasure to depend on this little light instead for emergency light needs. Holds its charge well (at least for the 3 months I've had it).
I got one for everyone in the household after they saw mine. Easy to crank and recharge. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it provides a bright light, but in a limited pattern, not wide spread (which would be perfect).
Last year I bought this flashlight for my husband, father, FIL, & 2 sons aged 5 & 3 at the time. My youngest son has a habit of playing with a flashlight & forgetting to turn it off. I love that I don't have to worry about that now! My FIL's flashlight didn't work from the start. Thankfully there's a lifetime guarantee. They sent a new one with no questions asked.
I like the size & weight of this mini-crank flashlight; it has a bright (LED-great light) light that not only creates a focused wide beam, but allows some radiant light on the sides, also. It seems to me that this is going to be an asset as a dependable, available flashlight when needed in emergencies. Need to pick up some more....great as gifts.....
