This was the gift I gave to everyone in my family this year. Since it needs no batteries, it can be kept in the car and still expected to work when needed. The brightness of the light surprised everyone.
It is easy to operate and keeps the charge. I take mine when I walk the dog at night. It is light in weight and gives plenty of light. This is my second crank flashlight. My first was also an L L BEAN crank flashlight purchased 10 years ago. The new one has cuter design.
