I love this flashlight! My mother purchased one for my son and it is perfect for him. He likes to stay up and read after we tuck him in but with other flashlights we were frequently replacing batteries. With this light, we just crank it each night before tucking him in. We've had it for over a year and it is still working wonderfully. I just ordered a second for my daughter who will soon be old enough to use it too.
I love this. After frantically searching for flashlights and batteries during the last hurricane, I found these. Wound them up right away, and they are still working! Easy to hold and very bright.

After recent power outage I was shopping in Freeport, saw a barrel of these and picked one up for elderly dad. He LOVES it. Showed it to everyone at dinner (he lives in Assisted Living). Perfect gift, simple to use, practical. No batteries. Only difficulty was the packaging is so secure, he had troubled opening the package, as did I. You will need something sharp to cut through the tough plastic - be careful when doing so.
