ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, easy to operate
We purchased several to have in case of bad weather where the power goes out. We used them during Hurricane Irene. They were great! Plan on buying them as Christmas Gifts for all our friends!!!
I purchased 6 of these this summer. All of them work great, and everyone who gets one as a gift appreciates it. This is a good time to own at least one, as natural disasters and power outages are commonplace these days. They are even brighter than my other compact LED flashlights that use 3 AAA batteries. I don't know if they are waterproof, but it doesn't seem like it. Also, the little lanyard hole thing could be bigger and more robust, but those are my only quibbles as of now.
I purchased 3 of these flashlights for Hurricane Irene. After 7 days without power, I found these to be the handiest little devices. I gave them to my children ages 8 through 16, and I never had to worry about batteries!! They are small, but we even managed to read by them! These crank flashlights are especially handy when all the stores run out of batteries! The bright neon color was helpful as well to spot in the moonlight.
