I had previously gotten the full size ones and love them; great for power outages; don't have to worry about batteries. When I saw the minis, I got them for three friends who are doing walking tours in Spain and Greece. They liked the idea; we'll see when they get back if they used them.
This crank flashlight is very handy. I'm amazed at how long a crank of a minute or so lasts. Wow! can I save money on batteries. Probably be my next gift for someone.
Really cute little flashlight, with a surprisingly strong light. I bought one for my car and for my aging mother-in-law. It's great that you never need to remember to change batteries.

Ordered 2 (red and yellow) for my grandkids for camping/overnighters. One was much brighter than the other and kept a charge longer. I ordered another and that one was fine also - Even though they a looked alike physically other than the color, the packaging was different. Since both the yellow ones (packaging was the same too) were good, maybe the red one was from a different "batch"? Will probably get more for others, handy for all ages. Love the "no batteries"! I'd seen many others but this was the right size, operation, price not too bad.
