I bought this flashlight because I was tired of replacing batteries and the price seemed appropriate for its size. I will admit that this flashlight has lived up to my expectations. The light is bright for personal space (don't expect it to light up an entire room). The most I ever had the light running is 30 minutes so I really cannot comment on the length of 'light life' before it needs additional cranking. My 2 and 5 year old children have a light of their own which they can easily crank. I don't mind them playing with it knowing the batteries will not deplete. I bought extras to store in our cars and in our emergency kit. I also take this on business travel because one can never know what emergency may occur away from home and I don't need batteries!
I've been trying to go as green as possible with batteries of late. I have been getting rechargable batteries, but they are expensive. The crank flashlight is great. It has a powerful beam. Takes only a short time to charge. It's great!
This product is outstanding. A one minute crank lasted an entire night! I have purchased one for each of my family members who have a car so they can keep them in the glove box.
The light is very bright, and easy to hold, stick in a pocket, etc. I am absolutely delighted with this little gem!

this is the most wonderful flashlite I have ever owned. I was so impressed that I bought 6 more to give to my hiking friends. They are light weight and small and no worry about carrying extra batteries. They stay lit for a long time and are bright enough for most uses.
