This little flashlight really works. Easy to crank, and the lights are really bright. Remarkably lightweight; fits in the palm of your hand. We put them in the glove compartments of all our vehicles. No more needing a flashlight only to discover the batteries are dead. Great for gift-giving, too.
bought these for my three gradkids ages 3,5,6. My son is planning to start to camp with them in the spring. This was a great gift to get them excited and looking forward to their springtime adventure. They loved the flashlights and played with them the whole day that we were there. The three color choices were a bonus for three children. No squabbling over which flashlight belongs to which child. My only concern is that the crank handles did seem a little more fragile than the sturdy flashlight. The kids were cranking away for the whole day, and so far no problem. We wont worry though with Beans great product return policy.
We live in a remote area where winter storms bring power outages every year. I got 4 of these lights so my wife and kids each have one. Last weekend, power was out for 3 days. Now, when daddy has to go cut the main power switch, turn on the generator, refill the generator or whatever, everyone can see. Before getting these, it was always hard to find a flashlight that had good batteries around here.
