I got this for my college-aged son who is an avid hiker. He loves it; its the perfect size and weight to put in a pocket on a hike and I don't need to worry about him getting caught out after dark. The no battery feature is fantastic, and the crank produces a surprisingly bright light.
Love it! Bought one for everyone in my family and two for myself. It seemed that every time I needed a flashlight, the batteries had died. This will no longer be a problem with my Mini Crank Flashlight!
After buying the first one and seeing how great it works I ordered 2 more for my family. It works so much better than the one that I bought years ago. The beam is incredibly bright, a small amount of crank illuminates so well and the charge last for a long time, longer than the other one I had that was from LL Bean and a crank. Obviously they have perfected it now. I think that everyone should have at least one and a few extra to keep around the house for when the electricity goes out.
