I'm extremely happy. Item arrived sooner than expected and in perfect condition. New mini light more compact than older model (which I also have), and output is better. If you need an "always ready" compact light for pocket, purse, or glovebox, this is the one you want! Worth every penny and more.
ProsGreat Value, Performing as Expected, convenient
After reading reviews of LLBean's other crank flashlights, this one stood out as the best for my needs, namely to replace the emergency flashlight in my car (I was tired of having to replace batteries). It's small & compact (fits comfortably in my hand), but just a little bit of cranking provides a bright light for a long time. It even maintained its "charge" after having been off for a while. I got it in yellow so it could be easy to find in the dark space of my glove compartment. I will probably buy a couple more as gifts for relatives to keep in their cars, too. It's so lightweight that I may even purchase another one for traveling.
I cranked the light for over a minute but it only held a good beam of light for about 20 to 30 seconds. If you continue to crank it as the light fades, it will keep runnning. Hard to use if you need light for any length of time while using your hands on a task. Good enough for the price.
