Because I am giving 4 of these items for Christmas, they have not been opened yet, so not sure how the recipients will like them, BUT I do suspect that they will be appreciated and used a lot. Because L L Bean has only the best, I give a rating of 5 stars.
Grandchildren love this to play flashlight tag. Plus it is great to have in the car for emergency. It will always be ready if needed. A few cranks and you have light.
Holds the charge forever! I cranked it months ago--no lie and it still lit up the other day without cranking! Perfect for the car, in the past every time there was a problem I would pull out the flashlight to always find the batteries dead. I gave these out as Christmas gifts last year, everyone loved them. I'm back for more
Ordered several of these to take to Nicaragua for use by park guards in a very rural area. The size is just right to fit in a pocket and so useful as they don't need batteries.
