This compact light is very bright, Right out of the package it worked. Crank for a minute or less for long lasting bright light, the crank side is flat so it will stay put if you put it down for hands free use.
First time that I've ever used or owned one of these. Very impressed by the intensity of the light that it produces and how long a single charge will last. Especially in subzero weather where regular batteries easily lose their power, this light is truly great!
This is a good little flashlight that is great for the car or a backpack. It made excellent stocking stuffers this year, and I'll never have to change the batteries.
