I always take a flashlight when I travel. At someone's house or in a hotel or even in a plane (at night); the need may always arise that I need to see without overhead lights. This wind-up, no batteries needed, lightweight flashlight is perfect. It is also east to spot in dim light since it is so brightly colored! I gave two as gifts this Christmas and purchased one for myself!
This is a great flashlight. Always ready to use with just a few cranks...no need to purchase anymore batteries. The hand crank is easy to use and produces a bright light. Don't buy just one, you'll want one in your car, in your tote bag, by your bedside, in your tool box for traveling, for gifts, etc.
