This light may be small but it is mighty!! I never have to worry about batteries. I have one in my car, and one in my schoolbus, And I have given several as gifts. It is a money well spent, Thanks again, LLBean!!!
This is a nice little flashlight. I bought one for my boyfriend. He liked it a lot. It's nice to pick up a flashlight and not wonder if there are batteries in it.
This was a great purchase and I highly recommend it.
I should have bought more as they tend to disappear...this Christmas I will make sure that everyone has their own.

I bought these flashlights for my family as stocking stuffers. I thought they would be great for camping and for the kids to play with, as they were forever leaving the flashlights on and killing the batteries. After nine months of owning these flashlights, they are not working well at all. One of them only lights up if you turn the crank. The moment the crank stops, the flashlight dies. Even if you crank for two minutes with the flashlight off, it doesn't work. The other two are bright for about a minute after cranking and then dim noticeably to the point that I can't see well anymore (I use them for walking my dog at night so I can pick up all of her #2). Their overall charge time is very short now. If I had written a review right after buying them, I would have given them high praise. Now, I wouldn't recommend them at all. I bought the LLBean LED reading lights at the same time, and we use those as flashlights instead (even though they have batteries). Those I recommend highly for both a flashlight and reading light.
I got the regular sized crank flashlight for my brother and 3 brother-in-laws, all in their 20's. They were a hit at Christmas, the guys all opened them up and gave them a crank right away. Great for in the car/truck or in your emergency stash. Great for the hard to buy for male and a good price, too.
