The LL bean solar wind'n crank mini seems brighter and it is more compact.
These led's seem softer and easier on the eyes though.
I've purchased both and I am pleased with both purchases!

This lantern is great - It is so great that I bought and second. I love it because you don't need batteries at all - Just charge up by solar power or crank...

Very sturdy and easy to wind for lighting. Works great for our camp that has no electricity
