This is a good lantern for the price. I put it out on a sunny day for the afternoon and it charged up fine. The light is not extremely bright but sufficient.
This is a good emergency light which is what I bought it for. Our power keeps going out lately.
This is a pretty useful and easy to use lantern, but it did arrive with its solar panel busted loose from its moorings, which makes me think it could break relatively easily. I was able to reseat the panel, and now it works fine. It provides pretty reasonable ambient light for cooking, eating, and other basic tasks, but it's a little too dim to read by, unless it's positioned directly behind your head. I like that it provides three ways to charge, solar, car charger, and crank. I would buy it again.
