Have wanted to get a solar-powered/self-charging sort of lantern to use for camping and this one worked perfectly. Light was bright enough to play dominos and cards in the tent while it was hanging from the top and fine to read next to later on. Fun to crank while sitting around the fire and charged while sitting out on the picnic table during the day to boot. Easy to use and love the yellow color!
No electricity, or batteries needed, only your own energy to make it work. Can be used during emergency, or for hiking, camping or just sitting out back. I bought for myself and for family and friends.
nice, lightweight and easy to crank. provides good enough light to see where you are going through a dark house. the lantern left to charge in the window didn't charge for as long or as powerful a charge as cranking it. overall, handy to have in an emergency and no batteries needed.
