The box this comes in looks like a kids toy, the lantern gives off fairly good light, but I am afraid to give it as a gift as it looks like cheap junk, especially in the box.
I really like this lantern. There is no mess with pouring fuel. No propane cylinders to buy. Just set it in the window and when you need light, It will be there! The handle that you crank is sturdy and is comfortable to turn.
