I just received this and its nicer than I thought. I live in the country and sometimes loose my electricity. This will come in handy and I won't have to use candles. Great gift idea for the future also.
I purchased two of these as Christmas gifts last year. One works fine, but the other one's handle broke shortly after first being used. I thought the packaging looked kind of cheesy and the gift recipient did not realize that the lantern was from LL Bean. Not the type of quality we have come to expect from LL Bean.
