"The LL Bean Klean Kanteen is perfect. It is easy to clean and great for work. Every night I fill it a quarter of the way with water and stick it in the freezer, the next day I fill it up at work at the water cooler and I have ice water for the greater part of the day. It also fits perfectly in my car's cup holder. The price can't be beat as well even by the manufactures website. The color is cool as well, I ordered black, expecting it to be matte black, but in direct light you see hints of gold in the paint. This product is great and I would highly recommend it."

"I like this canteen alot. I was initally worried about the screw top being awkward and labor intenstive (I have a 2yr and 4 yr old), but its not and I actually like it. I use it mainly for water, its doesn't stay cold all day but it does takes awhile (5-6hrs or so) for it to hit room temp."

"I recently purchased this and took it with me on vacation. It is the only water bottle I have ever used that absolutely doesn't leak. I kept it empty through airport security, then got bottled water and mixed it with my drink mix. This works great because water bottles are all different sizes and I could just pour the water in the bottle and mix it up. It was upside down in my backpack many times and never leaked a drop. I took it to the beach and it worked great there too. It even kept my drink colder than if it were in a plastic bottle. The only problem I had was it was sometimes hard to open if I tightened it too tight."

"I love this water bottle. I don't have to worry about a toxic lining because it's stainless steel -- not aluminum. It's light weight and easy to carry, and just the right size. The top is drinking friendly, unlike 'sport tops'. I own two, and wouldn't trade them for anything."

"I bought these for my immediate family for Christmas, along with the duropene cover to prevent condensation. It is a proven fact that the disposable plastic water bottles we've all used for years now are carcinogenic, the BPA is the culprit. Unfortunately, that includes plastic baby bottles & sippy cups. You can replace almost all of these items w/ non-disposable stainless steel like this water/ drink container. It is also better for the environment in that the plastic NEVER decomposes but stays in the landfills (or oceans) forever. The main point to me is the safety of my family. Anything that can cut down on the amount of poison we're exposed to/ ingesting has got to be a huge plus. These look elegant & attractive. I purchased the 27oz ones; w/ the sports mouthpiece, but the bigger opening for ice cubes. A clip is nice for people who hike or bike w/ these. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

"Ordered these to use on a cruise and trip to Alaska. fit nicley on my llbean travel purse that I got several years ago, also in blue. my husband choose the green as he hunts and fishes and it will clip oon his fanny or backpack. A plus for the environment as no plastic."

"I ordered nine of these in different colors, one for my husband and me, each of our kids and our grandchildren. They are excellent: attractive, sturdy with a wide mouth - and definitely better than plastic bottles! They also clean up great in the top rack of the dishwasher. My only mini-disappointment is that the engraving on the stainless steel bottle does not show: hard for a child to identify her/his name."

"The Bean Canteen is a good buy. I gave it to my husband who fills it with water, freezes it and carries it in his lunch everyday. He says it still has ice in it after 8 hours on the job! "We have 7 of these bottles in our family and they are great. Keep the water nice and cold and are easy to use. We just used them for a trip to Florida and back and would refill them from gallon jugs instead of buying a bunch of new bottles each time we stopped. We also refill them at home, school and work. Great product."

"The 18 oz Bean Canteen works great for keep water cold and perfect size. After ordering three of the Bean Canteens in different sizes and colors I perfer the Steel with no painted colors. The paint seems to chip after a couple of uses. I would recommend this Canteen to anyone looking for a good stainless steel canteen."
