I wish I could still get the older style of this shirt. I discovered after wearing the new style that it isn't long enough and when I lean over in the garden to weed, the shirt doesn't cover my lower back. I ended up burning my lower back. I also agree with other reviewers that the buttons are a pain.
I like the feel of the shirt. Orderd a large after reading reviews, could have used a med. I don't like the buttons, especially on the cuffs. I do wish it had come in a petite. Overall I felt the sleeves and shirt length were too long. But I will still get a lot of use from it.
I have 10 of them in slightly varying styles from several years, so obviously I like them. I wear them over a tank most days in the summer for casual wear and fishing. I haven't found any that are better but I would give a 5 star rating if I could get the fabric to look crisper after laundering. The fabric always has breaks in it. I've tried removing it immediately from the drier; hanging and ironing; and giving it to the laundry that does my husband's shirts. The last didn't work at all because the buttons melted.
Super lightweight,but well made. Was more slippery in texture than expected. Not for those who like the feel of cotton. Fits a little boxy, not as fitted as photo. Great for tropical climates with high humidity. Easy care for travel and comfortable to wear. Like the added sun protection, needed here in Maui.
