I bought this shirt for a trip I am taking out west in the early fall because I want to be outdoors most of the time and am sensitive to the sun. But I have already worn it this spring as a jacket. I love the feel of the material, the fit, the roll-up sleeves, and the green color. It washes well and does not wrinkle. I do have a suggestion: The button holes are a bit tight; I would prefer snaps like the ones on the sleeves up the front instead of buttons.
I am very pleased with this shirt except that it has a very funny smell to it and all the other tropic wear apparell I ordered have the same smell. I tried to wash it out and it did not come out. Hopefully after a few more washings it will wash out.
The material of this shirt is very nice. HOWEVER, I would not recommend this shirt to anyone. First off the buttons are rubber and stick and tear at the button holes as you pull them through. I ordered a replacement shirt and same problem. Second, I'm 5'7" 125 lbs 34 D chest and I find the sleeves of this shirt could definitely longer but the chest is not to confining. The shirt should also be longer. I purchased this shirt for backpacking and days out fishing. I don't expect it to last long unless I decide to pull it over my head instead of using the buttons. I'd send it back but I don't want to pay for return shipping and I got it on sale thank goodness.
I purchased this shirt to wear kayaking. The zip on the breast pocket is thoughtful to keep items secure in a full range of motion. Snaps on the rolled sleeves tab are easier to manage than buttons, which on this shirt are tough working through the button holes. Light weight and quick to dry.
