I bought the same shirt 2-3 years ago and loved it! But, the new style is "fitted" so I had to pay return shipping to get the next size up to fit. There is less range of motion in the new fit - disappointing in an active-wear shirt. I much prefer the original style. The sleeve length is a tad longer than other shirts, which is good for sun protection. The worst feature by far is the rubberized buttons that don't fit through the button holes without a fight. Do not buy this shirt if you have arthritis in your hands - you will not be able to wrestle the buttons in/out. The only reason I'm keeping it: the fabric is superbly cool, comfortable, quick-drying, not too wrinkle-prone, and travels great, and the colors are very pretty, although they do not match the Tropicwear pant colors very well (except Stone).
I held this up against an older LL BEAN shirt that looks almost the same and found that the sleeves are 1.5 inches longer (more than the width of the cuff). I didn't check it against the shirt that I bought last summer (a slightly different style) but I know that that shirt isn't worn very often because I need to roll up the sleeves or they are always dirty because they come half way down my hands.
I'll be returning the shirt as soon as I can package it.
I bought this same shirt in the same size several years ago. It fit fine and I really liked it. This shirt of same size, was tight in the body and shoulders but the sleeves were too long so larger size would not have solved the problem. Will have to look elsewhere.
