The sizing runs small...needs to be somewhat loose to be cool in hot weather, which is what I wanted this for. I was expecting a nicer blue, from the screen view online...pretty drab. Disappointing overall..
The Tropicwear Shirt is just O.K. Things I didn't like that will cause me to return them are the rubbery buttons and small buttonholes. The buttons grab the fabric and are difficult to fasten. The button holes are small and cannot be slit any further so the buttons tend to snag threads around the buttonholes and pull threads giving a very distinct snagged look to the front placket. I thought the sleeves were a little short for outstretched arms (fishing, skeet etc.). The things I really liked were the fabric, the soft colors, the overall body fit that was true to size, and especially the very functional and cool mesh venting on the back.
I have several of these shirts from 2-3 years ago and have loved them. Recently I got two of this (more fitted) style and much prefer the boxier fit of previous model. Even the sleeves are skimpier on this newer model. Please bring back the old fit.
