I used this shirt this past week on several day hikes. It was light weight, soft and still gave a bit of cover for early morning chill and stayed cool enough in the afternoon sun.
This shirt is great alone or over tank top. Miraculously, sleeves are long enough for me. Sadly, the color online is much bluer than the shirt in person, which has quite a green tint. I exchanged it at the store for a white one, which is just as good. Great climate control and dries FAST.
I bought this shirt for a sailing trip to the Bahamas for extra sun protection. I got an extra large but it is a bit tight. that's okay though since I plan on using it more as a cover up/jacket. I wish it came in Womens sizes. The fabric feels nice. Vent in the back is ample. Some people didn't like the rubber buttons but I like them and have no trouble with them. Suggestion for those who feel the button holes are too tight...You should be able to snip the fabric a tiny bit without cutting the stitching allowing the button to more easily pass through the hole. I have worn this shirt around town but not in the Bahamas yet. If the SPF doesn't work I will re-review this item.
