love this shirt, I got the long sleeve so that I could roll them up if need be, and the fit was great, my husband even comented on how nice it looked on me.
I haven't worn it yet, but plan to wear it during an upcoming trip to South Africa. I think it will be an ideal sun protection without being hot. I was surprised how small the blouse is, I had to order at least one size bigger. Fortunately another reviewer had warned about that.
This shirt was constructed nice and I liked the fabric, but the fit was huge. I'm fairly thin, but I could have fit three of my arms in the arms of this shirt. I returned it because the fit was cut too full for my taste.
Wore this in Alpine and Tropical/Equatorial conditions and performed great. Very versatile, a jacket over tank where steamy and on it's own for white water rafting or gardening. I liked the poly version better, now discontinued and softer and silkier and less "bright" i.e. not as scary for the wildlife. Get the drab one for safari. Quick drying, long wearing and all the mud--even the evil red mud-- washed right out!
